Who you are

You are a motivated and proactive RF/Microwave engineer with a strong background in developing RFICs for various applications. You possess a deep understanding of RF and microwave principles, and you are intellectually curious about the technologies that enable connectivity in challenging environments. You thrive in cross-disciplinary teams, collaborating with systems, firmware, architecture, design, validation, and product engineering to deliver innovative solutions. Your experience includes working on projects that require a high level of precision and reliability, particularly in the aerospace or telecommunications sectors.

You have a proven track record of developing and testing RF components and systems, ensuring they meet stringent performance and reliability standards. You are comfortable with both theoretical and practical aspects of RF design, and you are adept at using simulation tools and laboratory equipment to validate your designs. You are also familiar with the challenges of deploying technology in space and understand the unique requirements that come with it.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for developing cutting-edge RFICs that will be deployed in SpaceX's satellite systems and ground infrastructures. You will collaborate with a team of world-class engineers to design, build, and test these components, ensuring they meet the performance requirements necessary for reliable global connectivity. Your work will directly contribute to the success of Starlink, the world's largest satellite constellation, providing fast and reliable internet to millions of users.

You will engage in the full lifecycle of RFIC development, from initial concept through to production. This includes conducting simulations, prototyping, and testing to validate performance against specifications. You will also work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate RF solutions into larger systems, addressing any challenges that arise during the development process. Your contributions will help maximize Starlink's utility for communities and businesses around the globe, making a significant impact on how connectivity is delivered in previously underserved areas.
