Who you are

You are a motivated and proactive Senior MMIC Design Engineer with a strong background in electrical engineering and experience in developing MMICs for advanced applications. You possess deep expertise in Altium Designer and Embedded Linux, enabling you to design and test cutting-edge chips that will be deployed in space and ground infrastructures. Your intellectual curiosity drives you to explore innovative solutions that enhance connectivity in previously underserved areas.

You have a solid foundation in MATLAB and Python, which you utilize for simulation and analysis of complex systems. Your collaborative spirit allows you to work effectively with cross-disciplinary teams, including systems, firmware, architecture, design, validation, and product engineering. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are excited about the opportunity to contribute to SpaceX's mission of enabling human life on Mars.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and testing MMICs that are critical for the Starlink project, the world's largest satellite constellation. You will collaborate with engineers from various disciplines to ensure that the MMICs meet the stringent requirements for performance and reliability in space applications. Your work will directly impact the deployment of advanced broadband internet systems, providing fast and reliable connectivity to millions of users worldwide.

You will engage in the full lifecycle of MMIC development, from initial concept through to production, ensuring that all designs are optimized for performance and manufacturability. You will also be involved in troubleshooting and resolving issues that arise during testing and deployment, leveraging your analytical skills to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
