Your technical expertise includes proficiency with automation tools such as Ansible and Terraform — you've utilized these technologies to streamline deployment processes and enhance operational efficiency. You possess a strong foundation in Linux, enabling you to troubleshoot and resolve issues swiftly while maintaining system integrity. Your ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams ensures that you can gather requirements and implement solutions that meet the needs of engineering teams.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for installing, managing, and optimizing Kubernetes and RKE clusters in production environments — your work will directly support critical business functions at SpaceX. You will collaborate closely with other engineers to gather requirements and design software platforms that run efficiently within Kubernetes. Your focus will be on building resilient, high-performance systems that can scale to meet the demands of SpaceX's ambitious projects.

You will exercise a high degree of personal responsibility for the processes and tools you create and manage, contributing to the overarching goal of making humanity an interplanetary species. Your recommendations and implementations will play a crucial role in enhancing the infrastructure that supports SpaceX's mission.
