You have a strong background in site reliability engineering with a focus on automation and infrastructure as code — you understand that automation is a software engineering problem and not just a workaround. You are proficient in Python and have experience managing infrastructure from bare metal to containers, ensuring that systems are reliable and scalable. Your interest in scientific approaches to operations drives you to leverage metrics and code to improve performance and efficiency.
You thrive in a remote work environment and are comfortable collaborating with distributed teams across various time zones. Your ability to learn and adapt quickly allows you to understand the entire technology stack, from networking and kernel operations to serverless applications. You are passionate about continuous improvement and are always looking for ways to raise the bar on automation and operational excellence.
