SpaceX is hiring a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to work on mission-critical applications that support launch vehicle production and the Starlink network. You'll utilize skills in AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes to ensure system reliability. This position requires strong experience in site reliability engineering.
Job Description
Who you are
You have 5+ years of experience in site reliability engineering, with a strong background in managing and optimizing mission-critical applications. Your expertise in cloud technologies, particularly AWS, allows you to design and implement robust infrastructure solutions that support high availability and scalability.
You are proficient in containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes, enabling you to streamline deployment processes and enhance system performance. Your solid understanding of Linux systems and scripting languages like Python equips you to automate tasks and troubleshoot complex issues effectively.
You possess strong analytical skills and are comfortable working with databases, particularly SQL, to monitor system health and performance metrics. Your collaborative nature allows you to work seamlessly with cross-functional teams, ensuring that engineering and operational goals align with the overall mission of SpaceX.
Desirable
Experience in the aerospace industry or with large-scale distributed systems is a plus, but not required. Familiarity with monitoring tools and practices will help you excel in this role.
What you'll do
