You have 5+ years of experience in site reliability engineering or a related field, with a strong foundation in software engineering principles. You are proficient in Linux and have hands-on experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes. Your programming skills in languages like Python and Java enable you to automate processes and improve system reliability. You are familiar with cloud platforms, particularly AWS, and understand the intricacies of managing scalable applications in a cloud environment. You thrive in collaborative settings, working closely with cross-functional teams to solve complex problems and enhance system performance. You possess a proactive mindset, always looking for ways to optimize and improve existing systems. You are comfortable with monitoring tools and incident management practices, ensuring that systems remain operational and efficient.

Desirable

Experience with large-scale distributed systems and a background in aerospace or similar industries would be advantageous. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code practices is a plus. What you'll do

As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer at SpaceX, you will take ownership of mission-critical applications that are essential for the success of our launch vehicle production and flight operations. You will collaborate with engineers across various programs to design, implement, and maintain reliable systems that support the rapid build and reuse of Starship and the scaling of the Starlink network.
