What you'll do

As a Senior Software Engineer on the Starshield team, you will be responsible for creating highly reliable software systems that control hundreds of satellites in low Earth orbit. You will engage in the full software development lifecycle, from design and implementation to testing and operational support. Your role will involve collaborating with engineers to build secure systems that guarantee access to space, focusing on next-gen communication and sensing software. You will also contribute to the design of in-space mesh networks, ensuring that the software you develop meets the highest standards of reliability and security.
