What you'll do

As a Software Engineer on the Components Engineering team, you will design and develop software that supports the testing and manufacturing of rocket components. Your responsibilities will include writing test software and factory automation software that ensures the reliability of critical components used in SpaceX's spacecraft and launch vehicles. You will also develop hardware drivers and web interfaces that facilitate advanced component testing and analysis. You will work closely with hardware engineers to create firmware that integrates seamlessly with various components, ensuring optimal performance in extreme environments. Your role will involve problem-solving and innovation as you create novel software solutions from the ground up. You will participate in code reviews and collaborate with your team to maintain high coding standards and best practices.
