SpaceX is hiring a Supply Chain Planning Manager to enable production flow and support launch manifest for the Falcon and Dragon programs. Job Description
Who you are
You have a strong background in supply chain management and are skilled in developing new methods or processes to ensure the highest quality product and efficient methods utilized. You understand the technical feasibility of work content and are familiar with suppliersβ technical capabilities and limitations. You are proactive in informing design for manufacturability discussions based on vendor feedback and ensure partners are prepared to support prototype builds with appropriate equipment and materials.
You take ownership of team efforts to develop and implement sourcing and cost management strategies that support production goals. Your experience allows you to effectively coordinate with engineering and manufacturing departments, ensuring that supply chain strategies align with production objectives. You are detail-oriented and possess strong analytical skills, enabling you to manage inventory levels and supplier delivery effectively.
What you'll do
In this role, you will play an integral part in enabling production flow and supporting the launch manifest for SpaceX's Falcon and Dragon programs. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to execute effective supply chain strategies that achieve production goals. Your responsibilities will include material requirements planning, purchasing, and dock-to-stock coordination. You will evaluate the technical feasibility of work content and ensure that all partners are prepared to support prototype builds.
You will also be responsible for developing new methods or processes to enhance product quality and efficiency. Your role will require you to inform discussions on design for manufacturability based on vendor feedback, ensuring that all aspects of production are aligned with the overall goals of the company. You will take ownership of sourcing and cost management strategies, working collaboratively with various departments to ensure successful product development and ramping up production.
