Supply Chain Planning Manager • Mid-Level

Who you are

You have a strong background in supply chain management and are adept at developing new methods or processes to ensure the highest quality product. Your experience includes evaluating the technical feasibility of work content and understanding suppliers’ technical capabilities and limitations. You are proactive in informing Design For Manufacturability (DFM) discussions based on vendor feedback, ensuring that partners are prepared to support prototype builds with the appropriate equipment and materials. You take ownership of team efforts to develop and implement sourcing and cost management strategies that support existing platforms and new product development.

What you'll do

In this role, you will play an integral part in enabling production flow and supporting the launch manifest at SpaceX. You will work in close coordination with engineering and manufacturing departments, executing effective, creative, and smart supply chain strategies to achieve production goals. Your responsibilities will include material requirements planning, purchasing, supplier delivery management, dock-to-stock coordination, and inventory levels management. You will be responsible for ensuring that the supply chain processes are efficient and effective, contributing to the overall success of the production team. You will also be involved in evaluating and improving existing processes to enhance productivity and quality.
