What you'll do

As an Application Engineer at SPAN, you will be responsible for updating and authoring product documentation, including manuals and troubleshooting guides. You will create test plans and conduct tests in both field and lab environments to ensure products meet established requirements. Acting as a subject matter expert, you will address inquiries from both internal teams and external customers, providing insights and solutions based on your expertise. You will gather and organize product feedback, collaborating with product managers to implement improvements. Additionally, you will review product requirements early in the development phase to anticipate and mitigate potential application issues. Your role will also involve identifying software configuration issues during the piloting of new products and serving as the primary contact for third-party labs testing SPAN products.
