You possess strong prioritization skills, allowing you to manage multiple tasks efficiently. A solid understanding of financial markets and trading principles is essential for your role, as is familiarity with Apache Kafka and SQL databases, particularly PostgreSQL.

You have a solid understanding of Linux systems, including Docker and containerization, which is crucial for maintaining the infrastructure. Your experience with Django, Python Asyncio, and Redis will help you build robust applications. Additionally, you have experience setting up CI pipelines for Python projects, ensuring smooth deployment and integration processes.

What you'll do

As a Senior Python Developer at Sparkland Trading, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining the infrastructure and data processing services that complement our C++ trading core. You will collaborate closely with C++ developers to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of the systems. Your responsibilities will include writing and maintaining high-quality Python code, developing data processing services, and ensuring that the infrastructure is scalable and efficient.

You will also be involved in troubleshooting and optimizing existing systems, working to enhance performance and reliability. Your role will require you to stay updated with the latest technologies and best practices in software development, contributing to a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team. You will have the opportunity to mentor junior developers, sharing your knowledge and expertise to help them grow in their roles.
