Who you are
You have a strong background in data science with at least 5 years of experience in building and analyzing performance metrics. You are skilled in statistical analysis and have a deep understanding of data-driven decision-making processes. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working with cross-functional teams to surface insights that drive product development. Your experience includes defining and building metrics that guide strategic decisions, and you are comfortable running experiments to validate hypotheses. You are passionate about using data to influence product thinking and foster a culture of evidence-based decisions.
Desirable
Experience with data visualization tools and frameworks is a plus, as is familiarity with machine learning techniques. You have a knack for storytelling with data, enabling you to communicate complex insights in a clear and impactful manner. You are proactive in seeking out new data sources and methodologies to enhance your analyses, and you are always looking for ways to improve processes and outcomes.
What you'll do
As a Senior Data Scientist on the Platform team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the technology that supports Spotify's growth. You will collaborate with various studios within the SAFE Alliance to understand their needs and define the metrics that matter most. Your work will involve running experiments to test new ideas and delivering analyses that inform strategic decisions.
