You have a strong background in engineering management, with experience leading teams in building data platforms or similar systems. You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and influence technical strategy from day one. Your leadership style fosters a culture of innovation and accountability, empowering engineers to build with confidence and speed. You are comfortable navigating complex technical challenges and are adept at mentoring engineers across various experience levels.
What you'll do
In this role, you will lead two brand-new teams within the Data Collection Product Area of Spotifyβs Data Platform Studio. You will shape the future of developer experience for data collection by building a unified layer of powerful tools on top of core platforms. Your leadership will empower engineers across Spotify to enhance their workflows and improve data flow from every Spotify client.
You will take end-to-end ownership of Spotifyβs Event Sender SDKs, ensuring they are robust and efficient across platforms like Android, iOS, JavaScript, and C++. Your teams will have the unique opportunity to build foundational systems from the ground up, influencing the technical direction of the product area.
You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineering teams to ensure alignment on goals and deliverables. Your role will involve setting clear objectives, conducting regular performance reviews, and providing mentorship to help your team members grow in their careers.
