What you'll do

As a Backend Engineer in the Data Platform team, you will design, build, and develop scalable infrastructure services that support Spotify's data processing needs. You will collaborate closely with data practitioners to understand their requirements and provide them with the tools they need to manage and consume high-quality data effectively. Your role will involve working on the DataEx squad, where you will focus on increasing productivity and flexibility for data practitioners through reliable data processing platforms.

You will be responsible for implementing best practices in data engineering and ensuring that the infrastructure you build is robust and efficient. You will also participate in code reviews and contribute to the overall improvement of the team's engineering practices.
