You have a solid foundation in signal processing and are eager to apply your knowledge in a practical setting. You possess applied experience in audio and video analysis, and you are familiar with concepts related to perceptual quality. Your understanding of Music & Video Information Retrieval (MIR/VIR) will be beneficial as you work within the Media Quality Lab (MQL). What you'll do

As a Research Scientist Intern at Spotify, you will engage in projects that focus on media quality, perception, and technology. You will collaborate with experienced researchers to invent and test foundational approaches that inform future product experiences. Your role will involve analyzing audio and video data to enhance the quality of Spotify's offerings.

Throughout the internship, you will have the chance to participate in hands-on experiments and contribute to the development of innovative solutions. You will work closely with your team to explore new methodologies and technologies that can improve user experiences across Spotify's platforms.
