You have a strong background in HR, with at least 5 years of experience in a generalist role โ€” you understand the complexities of managing HR operations across different markets and are adept at navigating local employment laws and practices. Your expertise in HR systems, particularly Workday, allows you to efficiently manage employee data and processes, ensuring compliance and operational excellence.

You are a proactive communicator who thrives in collaborative environments โ€” you enjoy partnering with business leaders and HR teams to deliver exceptional employee support. Your ability to resolve employee queries and manage relations cases demonstrates your commitment to fostering a positive workplace culture. You are also skilled in facilitating training and onboarding processes, ensuring that new hires feel welcomed and prepared.

Your analytical mindset helps you assess HR metrics and identify areas for improvement โ€” you are comfortable using data to drive decisions and enhance HR strategies. You are adaptable and can manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, always keeping the employee experience at the forefront of your efforts.

What you'll do

As a Senior HR Generalist at Spotify, you will play a crucial role in supporting HR operations in the Japan and Korea markets. You will be responsible for managing the employee lifecycle, from onboarding new hires to facilitating ongoing training and development initiatives. Your expertise in Workday will be essential as you process employee data and ensure compliance with local regulations.

You will partner closely with local business leaders and HR Business Partners to deliver world-class employee support โ€” your role will involve addressing employee queries, managing employee relations cases, and overseeing local benefits administration. You will also collaborate with Employment Legal, Talent Acquisition, and Payroll teams to ensure a seamless HR experience for employees.

Your ability to connect with the broader JAPAC/SAMEA team will be vital as you align local HR strategies with global initiatives. You will contribute to creating a positive workplace culture by promoting employee engagement and satisfaction. Your insights and recommendations will help shape HR policies and practices that support the business's goals and objectives.
