You have a strong background in machine learning model development and AI engineering, with experience in building and maintaining predictive models that drive business decisions. You thrive in environments that require online experimentation techniques and large-scale engineering systems, and you are motivated by solving user and business problems as much as technical challenges. You enjoy working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, and business stakeholders, to create impactful solutions. You are comfortable with ambiguity and enjoy brainstorming and iterating on ideas to find the best outcomes.
Desirable
Experience with time-series modeling and familiarity with advertising technology would be a plus, as would a passion for audio and video platforms. You are eager to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies in the rapidly evolving field of machine learning.
What you'll do
In this role, you will lead strategic initiatives within the Ads Forecasting squad, focusing on building and maintaining models that predict future ad inventory, demand, and performance across Spotify's platform. You will leverage data and experimentation to provide accurate forecasts that optimize ad delivery and support key business decisions. Your work will involve employing both traditional machine learning techniques and state-of-the-art predictive modeling methods. You will collaborate closely with key stakeholders to ensure that the solutions you develop align with the needs of Spotify's listeners and business partners. You will also be responsible for iterating on existing models and systems to enhance their accuracy and effectiveness.
