Job Description
Who you are
You have 2–4 years of experience in a High-Touch execution role, where you've developed a strong understanding of market microstructures and trading practices. Your proficiency in Python and/or KDB allows you to analyze transaction costs effectively and recommend improvements. You possess strong analytical and communication skills, enabling you to liaise effectively with traders and external counterparties. Familiarity with transaction cost analysis (TCA) is essential, and experience with project management tools and methodologies will help you thrive in this role. Your Git and Jupyter skills are a plus, as they will aid in your collaboration with quantitative developers and strategists.
What you'll do
As a High-Touch Execution Strategist, you will be responsible for interfacing with traders, execution quants, and external counterparties to design and improve execution processes. You will collect market intelligence and analyze market microstructures to enhance trading strategies. Your role will involve reviewing transaction costs and coordinating with traders and quantitative developers to recommend trading improvements. You will also promote and enforce best trading practices on the High-Touch desk, ensuring that all processes align with industry standards. Additionally, you will onboard new products to trade, collaborating closely with strategists to understand their requirements and integrate new flows into the execution pipeline.
