Who you are
You have up to 4 years of experience as a kdb+/q developer, working closely with researchers and traders to design and implement service-oriented architectures. Your background in a STEM subject has equipped you with the technical skills necessary to excel in this role. You possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, allowing you to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders. You are eager to continuously learn new technologies and develop your skills further, thriving in a fast-paced environment where you can take on significant responsibilities.
Desirable
You have experience designing, testing, optimizing, and troubleshooting data-intensive applications, which will be beneficial in your role at Squarepoint. An understanding of financial data analysis and organization is a plus, as is familiarity with other programming languages such as Python, C++, or Rust. Experience with various database management systems and related technologies, including SQL, will also enhance your contributions to the team.
What you'll do
As a kdb+/q developer at Squarepoint, you will be responsible for designing and maintaining the kdb+ architecture that supports our trading operations. You will normalize diverse datasets to create a comprehensive model of reality, ensuring that our infrastructure is robust and scalable.
