You have 5+ years of experience in machine learning engineering, with a strong background in deploying and optimizing machine learning models in production environments. You are skilled in collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Data Scientists and Software Engineers, to identify opportunities for integrating machine learning solutions into products. Your expertise in Google's Vertex AI platform enables you to design, train, and update models effectively, ensuring that they deliver value to the business and its customers.

You are a problem solver who thrives in a collaborative environment, and you understand the importance of enabling Data Scientists to succeed through effective tooling and operational support. You are comfortable working in a hybrid role, balancing time between the office and remote work, and you are eager to contribute to the evolution of machine learning capabilities at Squarespace.

Desirable

Experience with additional cloud platforms or machine learning frameworks is a plus, as is familiarity with data engineering practices. What you'll do

In this role, you will collaborate closely with Data Scientists and Machine Learning Engineers to develop and maintain the machine learning platform that supports all production data science models. You will be responsible for deploying, monitoring, evaluating, and optimizing machine learning models in customer-facing applications, ensuring they operate effectively in a 24/7 environment. Your work will directly impact the success of the Data Science team and the overall product offerings at Squarespace.

You will engage in hands-on model development, working alongside Data Scientists to design and implement solutions that address business challenges. Your contributions will help unlock the potential of machine learning within the organization, enabling faster and more effective decision-making processes. You will also play a key role in the strategy and implementation of new machine learning capabilities, helping to shape the future of data-driven solutions at Squarespace.
