You have a strong background in backend engineering, with experience in building scalable systems that handle millions of requests per second. Your expertise in languages such as Go and Ruby on Rails allows you to create efficient and high-performance applications that meet the needs of modern marketers.
You are familiar with various database technologies, including Aerospike, Redis, and ScyllaDB, and understand how to optimize data storage and retrieval for performance. Your knowledge of Elasticsearch and Kafka enables you to implement robust search and messaging solutions that enhance user experience.
You thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy working with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful solutions. Your problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to new technologies make you a valuable asset to any project.
What you'll do
As a Backend Engineer at StackAdapt, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the backend services that power our marketing platform. You will work closely with product managers and frontend engineers to design APIs that facilitate seamless integration with various marketing channels.
You will also be involved in optimizing our real-time advertising bidding system, ensuring it can handle over 3,000,000 requests per second while maintaining high availability and performance. Your role will include monitoring system performance, troubleshooting issues, and implementing improvements based on user feedback and analytics.
In addition to coding, you will participate in code reviews and contribute to the overall architecture of our systems. You will have the opportunity to experiment with new technologies and methodologies, helping StackAdapt stay at the forefront of the programmatic advertising industry.
