You have 5+ years of experience in software engineering, particularly in building scalable systems that handle millions of requests per second. Your expertise in Golang allows you to develop high-performance applications, and you understand the intricacies of data processing and storage.

You are familiar with cloud technologies, particularly AWS, and have experience deploying applications using Kubernetes. Your knowledge of Kafka and ScyllaDB enables you to manage real-time data ingestion and processing effectively.

You thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy working with cross-functional teams, including data science and engineering. Your strong problem-solving skills help you tackle complex challenges in user data management and system optimization.

You are passionate about leveraging machine learning and user experience to drive impactful results. You understand the importance of maintaining high service level agreements (SLAs) and are committed to delivering reliable software solutions.

Desirable

Experience with programmatic advertising or marketing technology is a plus. Familiarity with modern software development practices, including CI/CD, is also beneficial.

What you'll do

As a Senior Software Engineer on the User Data team, you will manage all aspects of user profiles, from data ingestion to processing and storage. You will design and implement systems that provide various representations of user datasets to downstream services, ensuring efficient data flow and accessibility.

You will collaborate closely with teams across the organization, including Bidding and Data Science, to understand their data needs and deliver solutions that enhance their workflows. Your role will involve optimizing existing systems for performance and scalability, ensuring they can handle the demands of high-volume data processing.

You will also contribute to the development of the non-programmatic workflow engine and user segment builder, playing a key role in shaping the future of StackAdapt's user data capabilities. Your technical expertise will guide architectural decisions and best practices within the team.
