Who you are
You have a strong background in developer advocacy or relations, ideally with experience in blockchain technology. Your passion for creating equitable access to financial systems drives your work, and you thrive in environments where you can engage with developers and foster community. You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to present complex ideas clearly and inspire others.
You are experienced in organizing events and hackathons, having successfully executed strategies that attract and motivate developers. Your ability to create engaging content, such as tutorials and documentation, showcases your technical expertise and understanding of developer needs. You are comfortable representing your organization at conferences and workshops, sharing knowledge and insights with a diverse audience.
What you'll do
As a Senior Developer Advocate at Stellar Development Foundation, you will develop and execute strategies for in-person activations that inspire developers to experiment and build with Stellar. You will give keynotes, lead workshops, and provide hands-on mentorship sessions, representing SDF at various conferences and builder events around the world. Your role will involve creating tutorials, videos, code samples, and interactive content to engage developers and showcase the potential of smart contracts on the Stellar platform.
You will collaborate closely with the engineering team to ensure that developer resources are up-to-date and relevant. Your insights will help shape the tools and protocols necessary for the Stellar ecosystem to thrive. You will also work on building a community around Stellar, fostering relationships with developers and organizations that can contribute to the growth of the network.
