Who you are
You are an entry-level professional eager to kickstart your career in software testing. You possess a strong attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset, which allows you to effectively prepare test plans and automate test cases. Your curiosity drives you to continuously learn and improve your skills in modern web and mobile technologies. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with product managers and engineers to deliver high-quality software. You have a foundational understanding of frontend and backend systems, enabling you to validate functionality effectively. You are familiar with QA best practices and are excited about contributing to automation maturity within the team.
What you'll do
In this role, you will collaborate with product managers and engineers to ensure the delivery of high-quality software. You will understand business requirements and product requirements documents, deriving scenarios to prepare detailed test plans. You will create well-structured test cases that follow QA best practices and automate these test cases for web, iOS, and Android applications using tools like WebdriverIO, Selenium, and Appium. Your responsibilities will include validating frontend data against backend responses, performing functional, regression, smoke, and end-to-end testing for web and mobile apps. You will execute tests on cloud-based platforms such as Allure TestOps, LambdaTest, BrowserStack, and SauceLabs, generating and maintaining rich test reports using Allure or equivalent frameworks. Additionally, you will participate in sprint ceremonies, including planning, grooming, and release testing, and clearly raise defects when necessary.
