Who you are
You have over 10 years of hands-on coding experience in backend API development, particularly with Node.js, and are well-versed in frameworks like NestJS or Express. Your strong understanding of JavaScript fundamentals allows you to build robust applications that meet user needs effectively. You have a collaborative spirit and enjoy working in a flexible environment where communication is key. Mentoring junior team members is something you value, as you believe in fostering growth within your team. You are also adaptable, willing to learn new technologies as market demands evolve, and have a keen interest in process improvement to enhance delivery.
Desirable
Experience in the payments industry or with payment processing will be a significant advantage. Familiarity with public cloud services, particularly AWS, and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes will help you thrive in this role. Knowledge of microservices and asynchronous event-based architecture is also beneficial, as is experience with server-side technologies that include caching and asynchronous processing.
