Who you are
You have a strong background in accounting with a focus on general ledger activities. You are familiar with US GAAP and have experience in managing monthly close processes. Your collaborative nature allows you to work effectively across teams, driving strategic initiatives that align with company goals. You are detail-oriented and possess excellent analytical skills, enabling you to prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and flux analysis. You thrive in a hybrid work environment, balancing on-site collaboration with remote flexibility.
What you'll do
As a Senior GL Accountant at Strava, you will lead the preparation and management of monthly close activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. You will own key components of the monthly close for our US entity and subsidiaries, including cash and accruals. Your role will involve collaborating with various departments to drive the close and reporting process, contributing to the overall financial health of the organization. You will also play a crucial role in preparing for public-company readiness, helping to scale and expand the company's footprint.
