Who you are
You have a strong background in general accounting, with experience in managing general ledger operations and ensuring compliance with IFRS and local GAAP. Your attention to detail is exceptional, and you thrive in collaborative team environments where communication is key. You can multitask effectively and prioritize your workload in a fast-paced setting, meeting deadlines without compromising quality.
You possess strong Excel skills, including proficiency in VBA, which allows you to analyze data efficiently and automate tasks. While experience in the Tech/SaaS sector is beneficial, your foundational accounting knowledge and adaptability are what truly set you apart. You are eager to contribute to a team that values inclusivity and growth.
What you'll do
In this role, you will support day-to-day general ledger operations, including posting journal entries and performing account reconciliations. You will contribute to monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities, ensuring that all processes comply with IFRS and local GAAP requirements. Additionally, you will prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual tax filings and support statutory audit processes, maintaining accurate accounting records for prepaid expenses and accruals.
You will collaborate closely with the RTR Manager and other team members to ensure that all accounting activities are executed smoothly and efficiently. Your role will involve not only technical accounting tasks but also fostering a positive team dynamic where everyone can learn and succeed together. You will be expected to stay updated on accounting regulations and best practices, continuously seeking ways to improve processes and enhance the team's performance.
