You thrive in a global, matrixed organization and have a deep understanding of the complexities involved in financial crime prevention. You are comfortable working closely with data teams to identify emerging financial crime patterns and validate detection models, ensuring that your strategies are data-driven and effective.

What you'll do

As the Senior BSA Officer at Stripe, you will lead the financial crimes program in the US, serving as the principal decision-maker on risk management decisions. Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing a compliance strategy that leverages AI, data science, and automation to enhance the effectiveness of the BSA/AML program. You will provide regular updates to the US Board, ensuring they are informed about the program's health and effectiveness.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including data teams, to identify and analyze emerging financial crime patterns. Your role will involve validating the effectiveness of detection models and continuously improving the compliance framework. You will also represent the financial crimes team publicly, advocating for best practices and compliance standards within the organization.
