Job Description
Who you are
You have a strong background in financial data analysis, ideally with experience working on regulatory or compliance reporting. Your understanding of accounting principles, particularly double-entry ledger principles, allows you to navigate complex financial data with ease. You are familiar with distributed data frameworks like Hadoop and Spark, enabling you to write and debug data pipelines effectively. You understand development processes and best practices, including engineering standards, code reviews, and testing, which helps you maintain high-quality outputs in your work.
You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with engineering, accounting, financial partnerships, and product teams to analyze and respond to regulatory reporting, tax, and accounting requirements. Your ability to combine data from multiple upstream sources ensures that you deliver accurate and timely insights. You are detail-oriented and committed to improving processes, always looking for ways to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in your role.
Desirable
Experience with regulatory compliance and reporting is a plus, as is familiarity with financial data compliance processes. You have a knack for building simple, usable dashboards that communicate complex data in an accessible way.
