Who you are

You have a strong background in data analysis, with experience working in a growth stage internet or software company. Your proficiency in Python allows you to manipulate and analyze data effectively, while your familiarity with distributed data frameworks like Spark enables you to write and debug data pipelines. You possess a solid understanding of statistical concepts, which helps you derive meaningful insights from complex datasets. Your experience includes creating leadership-level reporting, such as Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and Monthly Business Reviews (MBRs), showcasing your ability to communicate data-driven insights to stakeholders.

You are detail-oriented and have a knack for translating business needs into data problems, ensuring that your analyses align with the strategic goals of the organization. Your collaborative nature allows you to work closely with cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making. You are comfortable with engineering standards, code reviews, and testing, which enhances the quality of your work and the data products you deliver.

What you'll do

In this role, you will partner deeply with various teams across Stripe to ensure that users, products, and the business have the necessary models, data products, and insights to make informed decisions. You will extract insights from Stripe's rich and complex data, translating business needs into actionable data problems. Your responsibilities will include building metrics, scalable data pipelines, dashboards, and reports that inform and guide the business.

You will deliver actionable business recommendations through thorough analyses and effective data storytelling. Your work will directly impact company-wide initiatives, helping to drive growth and improve user experiences. You will collaborate with leaders to ensure that data-driven insights are integrated into strategic planning and execution, ultimately contributing to Stripe's mission of increasing the GDP of the internet.
