What you'll do

As a Staff Engineer on the Workflow Engine team, you will design, build, and maintain the core infrastructure that powers Stripe’s asynchronous processing capabilities. Your role will involve guiding the engineering organization towards creating resilient and scalable systems that simplify the complexities of distributed architectures. You will collaborate with various teams to ensure that the workflows you develop are reliable and meet the high standards expected in financial transactions.

You will lead efforts to enhance the asynchronous execution capabilities of our service platform, focusing on making it easier for engineers to build and maintain their workflows. Your responsibilities will include liaising with teams to gather requirements, providing technical guidance, and ensuring that the infrastructure aligns with Stripe's mission to increase the GDP of the internet. You will also be involved in mentoring junior engineers, sharing your knowledge and expertise to foster a culture of learning and growth within the team.
