Who you are

You are a recent PhD graduate with a strong foundation in machine learning principles and practices. Your academic background has equipped you with the skills to develop and deploy machine learning models that drive significant business value. You are proficient in Python and have experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch. You understand the importance of data in training models and are comfortable working with SQL to manage and manipulate datasets. You are eager to tackle challenging problems at the intersection of finance, technology, and data, and you can articulate your work to both team members and wider audiences.

Desirable

Experience with large-scale machine learning systems is a plus, as is familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or GCP. You are a collaborative team player who thrives in a dynamic environment and is excited about the opportunity to contribute to innovative projects that enhance user experiences.

What you'll do

In this role, you will engage in the end-to-end process of designing, training, improving, and launching machine learning models. You will develop and deploy large-scale machine learning systems that enhance Stripe's suite of products, focusing on critical areas such as fraud detection and user behavior prediction. You will work on creative projects like the Stripe Assistant and the Stripe Foundation Model, leveraging machine learning to revolutionize how businesses interact with financial services. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that your models are effectively integrated into Stripe's products, driving significant business value.
