Who you are

You have a strong background in Android development, particularly with Kotlin, and have experience designing and building applications for various devices and form factors. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with engineers, product managers, and designers to deliver exceptional user experiences. You understand the importance of crafting great developer and consumer experiences, and you can empathize with users to create solutions that meet their needs. Your experience may include custom hardware on the Android platform and knowledge of payment systems, which will be beneficial in this role.

What you'll do

As an Android Engineer on the Terminal team, you will design, build, and maintain Android applications and SDKs that facilitate in-person payments for businesses. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring new features and products to Stripe's mobile users, ensuring that the applications you develop are scalable and user-friendly. Your responsibilities will also include enhancing the Device Platform, which involves building frameworks that allow other engineers to develop on Stripe's custom platform with ease. You will be expected to contribute to the overall mission of making it easy for businesses to accept payments in the physical world, leveraging your technical expertise to drive innovation and improve user experiences.
