Your experience in the marketing domain, particularly in building products that contribute to the marketing tech stack, sets you apart. You are familiar with machine learning concepts and have worked on projects involving recommender systems or lifecycle marketing.

You have prior experience building distributed systems or microservices architecture, which has equipped you with the skills to tackle complex engineering challenges. You are a collaborative team player who enjoys working with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Finance, and Product, to deliver impactful solutions.

Desirable

Experience with additional cloud services and tools is a plus. Familiarity with financial systems or the fintech industry will help you understand the unique challenges faced by Stripe's internal teams. You are eager to learn and adapt to new technologies as they emerge in the fast-paced tech landscape.

What you'll do

As a Software Engineer on the Internal Systems team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining systems that streamline processes for Stripe's internal revenue teams. You will collaborate closely with Sales, Finance, and Legal teams to create a unified selling experience that enhances productivity across the board. Your work will involve designing and implementing APIs, integrations, and data pipelines that support various business functions.

You will also contribute to the development of internal user interfaces that provide a seamless experience for users. Your role will require you to engage in code reviews, ensuring that best practices are followed and that the codebase remains maintainable and scalable. You will have the opportunity to mentor junior engineers, sharing your knowledge and helping them grow in their careers.

In addition, you will work on optimizing existing systems and identifying areas for improvement. Your analytical skills will be crucial in assessing the performance of the systems you build and making data-driven decisions to enhance their efficiency.
