You have strong systems programming skills with proficiency in Go and experience building production-grade operators or controllers. Your deep Kubernetes expertise means you have hands-on experience managing Kubernetes environments and orchestrating distributed systems. You understand the intricacies of cloud deployment infrastructure and have a knack for designing robust deployment patterns for platforms like EKS. Your experience with storage and networking layers ensures data reliability and connectivity across cloud environments. You thrive in collaborative settings, working closely with database engineers, SRE, and product teams to deliver seamless deployment experiences. You are detail-oriented and committed to operational excellence, building monitoring, alerting, and diagnostic capabilities into the deployment layer.
What you'll do
As a Multigres Deployment Engineer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining the Multigres Operator, which orchestrates distributed Postgres deployments. You will architect cloud deployment infrastructure, designing and implementing robust deployment patterns for EKS and other Kubernetes platforms. Your role will involve managing storage and networking layers, working with CSI drivers, persistent volumes, and cross-cloud networking to ensure data reliability and connectivity. You will develop deployment tooling, creating internal tools and automation for provisioning, scaling, and managing Multigres clusters. Ensuring operational excellence will be key, as you build monitoring, alerting, and diagnostic capabilities into the deployment layer. Collaboration is essential, as you will work with various teams to deliver seamless deployment experiences.
