Who you are
You have a strong background in product design with at least 5 years of experience leading design teams — you've successfully managed projects from concept to execution while maintaining a high standard of craft and user understanding. Your expertise in user research allows you to deeply understand customer needs and translate them into effective design solutions. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with product managers and engineers to shape product strategy and ensure a seamless user experience. You are hands-on and enjoy mentoring junior designers, fostering their growth while driving your team's success. Your strong decision-making skills enable you to move quickly and effectively in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that projects are completed on time and to a high standard.
What you'll do
As the Product Design Manager at Sydecar, you will lead a team of talented Product Designers, guiding them in redefining the product experience as the company scales. You will be responsible for conducting deep user research to inform design decisions and product strategy, ensuring that the needs of our diverse customer base are met.
