Who you are

You have 5+ years of experience in DevOps or Infrastructure Automation, with a strong background in automated infrastructure build tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and Salt. Your hands-on programming skills allow you to develop and manage various infrastructure components, including web stacks, database systems, and security tools. You possess a solid understanding of networking and security constructs within public cloud environments, particularly Google Cloud Platform and Microsoft Azure.

You are a proactive learner who embraces challenges with a positive attitude. While you may not know every tool we use, your motivation to learn and adapt is what sets you apart. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working closely with engineering teams to ensure robust software support, monitoring, and security policies.

Desirable

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code practices is a plus. Familiarity with security best practices in cloud environments will help you excel in this role.

What you'll do

As a Senior DevOps Engineer at Synack, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our Penetration Testing as a Service platform. You will be responsible for automating infrastructure builds and ensuring the reliability and security of our systems. Collaborating with engineering teams, you will implement monitoring solutions and develop security policies that align with industry standards.
