Job Description
Who you are
You have 4+ years of real-world experience programming in JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, and Golang β you've built and maintained high-performance APIs and understand the intricacies of low-latency code that processes significant trading volumes. Your familiarity with Linux on desktops and servers allows you to navigate and optimize environments effectively. You possess a strong understanding of Git, enabling you to manage code versions and collaborate seamlessly with your team.
Your experience includes building and scaling reliable data pipelines using Kafka β you know how to architect performant communication layers that facilitate networking between internal exchange components. You are comfortable with SQL-based databases and have experience deploying high-performance APIs, both REST and WebSockets. You take ownership of system design and implementation, leaning on industry best practices to ensure reliability and performance.
You are good with maths and statistics, which helps you in making data-driven decisions and optimizations. You have a knack for mentoring and developing team members, sharing your knowledge of design techniques and coding standards. You strive for clear communication, ensuring that all team members understand the 'why' behind technical decisions.
What you'll do
As a Golang Developer at Syndr, you will work on building critical trading infrastructure and components for our platform, supporting trade execution, order matching, risk management, settlements, and data analytics. You will write low-latency code that reliably processes billions of dollars in trading volume daily. Your role will involve architecting performant and reliable communication layers to enable networking between our internal exchange components.
You will be responsible for building and maintaining high-performance APIs, optimizing, testing, and improving our platformβs codebase and performance. Documenting and adding to our platformβs product and API documentation will also be part of your duties. You will implement new features for our exchange and manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables with your technical expertise.
In addition to your development responsibilities, you will mentor and develop other team members on design techniques and coding standards. Collaborating with pen-testing and software security audit firms will ensure that our systems remain secure and robust. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity and performance of our trading platform, contributing to its ongoing success.
What we offer
At Syndr, we offer a dynamic work environment where you can grow your skills and make a significant impact on our trading platform. You will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and collaborate with a talented team of professionals.
