You have 5+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, with a strong focus on cloud security and the ability to implement robust solutions that protect cloud-native applications. Your expertise in AWS and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes allows you to design and maintain scalable infrastructure that meets the demands of a growing enterprise customer base.

You are proficient in using Docker for containerization, enabling you to streamline application deployment and enhance operational efficiency. Your solid understanding of Linux systems equips you to troubleshoot and optimize performance in diverse environments. You thrive in collaborative settings, valuing diverse opinions and open dialogue to spur innovative ideas.

You are passionate about open source technologies and have experience contributing to or utilizing tools like Falco for real-time security insights. Your problem-solving skills enable you to quickly identify and mitigate security risks, ensuring that applications remain secure and compliant.

Desirable

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code practices is a plus, as it allows you to automate deployments and improve system reliability. Familiarity with monitoring tools and practices will help you maintain high availability and performance of cloud services.

What you'll do

As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer at Sysdig, you will lead efforts to enhance our cloud security posture by implementing best practices and innovative solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy secure infrastructure that supports our cloud-native applications. Your role will involve monitoring and analyzing system performance, identifying potential vulnerabilities, and implementing necessary security measures.

You will also be responsible for developing and maintaining documentation related to infrastructure architecture and security protocols. Your contributions will directly impact the effectiveness of our security solutions, helping to protect our customers from evolving threats in the cloud.

In addition, you will mentor junior engineers, sharing your knowledge and expertise to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team. You will participate in regular security assessments and audits, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
