Taktile is hiring a Full-Stack Engineer to join Team Resolve and build features for compliance and fraud systems. You'll work with TypeScript, React, and Python on AWS. This role requires production experience with these technologies.
Job Description
Who you are
You have strong engineering fundamentals and can build clean APIs, debug production issues, and know when to refactor versus ship. You are passionate about owning systems end-to-end, including the willingness to operate them in production and ramp up with incident response. You have production experience with TypeScript and Python, and you thrive in collaborative environments where you can work directly with customers and product teams.
You are fluent in English and can write design documents, review pull requests with context, and occasionally join customer calls. You enjoy participating in team rituals such as daily syncs, sprint planning, demos, and technical deep-dives. You are eager to shape the roadmap based on insights gained from both the code and user feedback.
Desirable
Experience with AWS Lambda and familiarity with compliance, fraud, and risk management systems would be a plus. You are comfortable working in a hybrid role, collaborating in person regularly with your team.
What you'll do
As a Full-Stack Engineer at Taktile, you will build and ship features across the full stack, utilizing TypeScript and React for the frontend and Python with FastAPI for the backend on AWS Lambda. You will own features from design review to deployment, including bulk case actions, entity lifecycle management, analytics dashboards, and audit trails for compliance requirements. You will work directly with Product and Design teams to incorporate customer feedback into your work, ensuring that the features you develop meet user needs effectively.
You will participate in team rituals, including daily syncs and sprint planning, to keep the team aligned and focused on delivering high-quality features. Your role will also involve joining the working hours team support rotation over time, allowing you to engage with production systems and respond to incidents as they arise. You will have the opportunity to shape the product roadmap based on your experiences and insights gained from working with the code and interacting with users.
