Who you are
You are a Computer Science student with a solid foundation in engineering principles and a keen interest in distributed systems. You are eager to learn and grow as a software engineer, ready to tackle challenges and contribute to meaningful projects. Your ambition drives you to seek opportunities that will turbocharge your career in technology.
You possess fantastic Computer Science fundamentals, including knowledge of data structures, algorithms, networking, and databases. You are comfortable working in a hybrid environment, collaborating with team members both in-person and remotely. Your fluency in English allows you to communicate effectively in a diverse team setting.
Desirable
While not required, exposure to AWS, particularly Lambda, is a plus. Experience with frontend development using React or similar frameworks will also be beneficial as you may work on various components of the product.
What you'll do
As a Software Engineer Intern at Taktile, you will have the opportunity to work on either backend components written in Python and FastAPI, hosted on an AWS serverless architecture, or frontend components using React and TypeScript. Depending on your final team assignment, you may engage in a combination of both areas, allowing you to broaden your skill set.
You will actively participate in team rituals such as daily syncs, planning sessions, and technical deep-dive discussions. This collaborative environment will enable you to learn from experienced engineers and contribute to the foundational layer of Taktile's product. You will also join cross-team learning groups, enhancing your understanding of the industry and technology.
