What you'll do

As a Senior Backend Engineer at Tala, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our microservices platform, ensuring it is scalable, fault-tolerant, and performant. You will collaborate with the Backend Engineering Manager and other teams across the globe to implement best practices in software development and engineering processes. Your responsibilities will include designing and implementing backend services that meet the needs of our users, leading code reviews, and mentoring junior engineers to help them grow in their roles. You will also be involved in troubleshooting and resolving production issues, ensuring that our systems remain reliable and efficient. Your contributions will directly impact our ability to deliver personalized financial solutions to millions of customers worldwide.
