Job Description
Who you are
You have 3+ years of experience in technical support or a related field, demonstrating solid technical skills in areas such as networking, security, operations, scripting, and programming. You are adept at mastering new concepts and technologies, continually striving to enhance your expertise in the Tanium platform. Your focus on customer satisfaction drives you to proactively address issues and improve the overall experience for enterprise customers.
You possess strong problem-solving abilities and can effectively triage and resolve inbound support cases. Your communication skills allow you to work collaboratively with other Support Engineers, assisting them with their assigned cases and sharing knowledge within the team. You are also comfortable documenting best practices and tracking activities to ensure continuous improvement in customer support.
What you'll do
In this role, you will assist customers by triaging and solving support cases, ensuring timely responses to technical questions. You will work closely with other Support Engineers to provide assistance and share insights on complex issues. Your responsibilities will include documenting root causes and reporting on customer interactions to enhance the support process. You will serve as a technical subject matter expert, focusing on testing and troubleshooting aspects of the Tanium platform, providing valuable feedback to the Engineering teams to improve customer experience.
You will have opportunities to apply your technical skills while building new competencies in scripting and debugging. Your role will involve continuous learning and growth, as you engage with customers and contribute to the overall success of the support team. You will also participate in initiatives aimed at enhancing customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
