Who you are
You have 5+ years of industry experience designing and building high-impact, high-performance, scalable, observable, and maintainable backend services and APIs. Your expertise includes knowledge of at least one of Golang, Node.js, Python, Ruby, Rust, or Java, and you are comfortable working with React, JavaScript, or TypeScript. You have experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, and other infrastructure technologies, and you are familiar with modern software engineering development and automation tools like Git and Jenkins.
You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working as part of a nimble development team. Your strong problem-solving skills and ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams make you a valuable asset. You are passionate about building best-of-breed products and are eager to contribute to the success of the team.
What you'll do
As a Senior Full Stack Engineer at Tanium, you will be responsible for building and maintaining products that integrate IT operations, security, and risk into a single, comprehensive solution. You will specifically work on a new service that manages all the certificates for internal services. Your role will involve designing and implementing scalable backend services and APIs, ensuring they are high-performance and maintainable.
You will collaborate closely with other engineers and stakeholders to deliver features that meet the needs of our users. Your responsibilities will include code reviews, mentoring junior engineers, and contributing to the overall architecture of the system. You will also be involved in the deployment and monitoring of applications, ensuring they run smoothly in production environments.
