Overview
TealBook is hiring a Customer Data Analyst for a fixed-term role to ensure data quality and governance. You'll utilize tools like Excel, Looker, and Python to troubleshoot data issues and provide insights. This position is for a 6-month contract from November 2025 to April 2026.
Job Description
Who you are
You have a strong background in data analysis and are excited about using data to support procurement transformation. You are the go-to person for troubleshooting data problems and explaining data creation processes, showcasing your expertise in data management. Your experience includes ensuring data quality control processes are scalable and identifying opportunities for improvement in data processing. You are adept at using tools like Excel, Looker, and Python to review data accuracy and formatting, and you have a knack for diagnosing data-related questions quickly.
You understand the importance of data governance and are committed to strengthening data literacy within your organization. You have experience in tracking data lineage and confirming audibility, which helps in maintaining high standards of data integrity. Your ability to collaborate effectively in a remote working environment is a key asset, allowing you to work seamlessly with internal stakeholders and the Customer Success team to meet customer data expectations.
Desirable
Experience in the supply chain or procurement domain is a plus, as is familiarity with design thinking methodologies. You are always looking for ways to enhance your skills and knowledge in data management practices, and you are eager to learn from others while sharing your insights.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of customer data and implementing data governance processes. You will load and troubleshoot issues with data uploads, ensuring that data is accurate and properly formatted. Your role will involve providing visibility into the customer data processing pipeline, including turnaround times and process effectiveness. You will work closely with internal teams to identify and resolve data quality issues, helping to improve overall data management practices.
You will also be tasked with researching publicly available reputable sources to identify key attributes for data management. Your insights will inform and influence internal stakeholders regarding data governance processes. You will play a crucial role in enhancing the data literacy of your team, contributing to the development of a data dictionary, and ensuring that governance protocols are followed.
