Who you are

You have 5+ years of experience in cloud security engineering, with a strong focus on safeguarding SaaS infrastructures. Your expertise includes implementing security configurations across various cloud platforms, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of services. You are well-versed in working closely with DevOps, Product Security, and IT teams to develop and maintain security controls.

Your background includes hands-on experience with tools like Wiz and Valence, and you have a deep understanding of cloud security posture management. You are proactive in threat detection and response, capable of developing strategies to mitigate risks effectively. You thrive in collaborative environments and are skilled at communicating security concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Desirable

Experience with machine learning and AI technologies is a plus, as is familiarity with the automotive industry. You are passionate about staying updated with the latest security trends and best practices, continuously seeking to enhance your skills and knowledge.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be pivotal in implementing and maintaining security configurations across cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP. You will develop and manage cloud security posture management strategies, ensuring that security controls are effectively integrated into the development lifecycle. Your responsibilities will include threat detection and response, where you will analyze security incidents and develop remediation strategies.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that security is embedded in all aspects of the cloud-native platform. This includes working with DevOps to implement CI/CD pipelines with security best practices in mind. You will also conduct regular security assessments and audits, providing recommendations for improvements based on your findings.

Your role will involve staying abreast of emerging threats and vulnerabilities, ensuring that the organization is prepared to respond effectively. You will contribute to the development of security policies and procedures, helping to foster a culture of security awareness across the organization.
