You are a creative and accomplished storyteller with a strong background in marketing communications, particularly in the government and defense sectors. With a keen understanding of various buyer personas, you can articulate value at each stage of the buying journey, ensuring that your content resonates with target audiences. You possess excellent writing skills in English and have experience developing both short- and long-form narratives that drive engagement. Your ability to analyze and understand customer pain points allows you to create compelling content that addresses their needs effectively.
You have a proven track record of producing diverse content types, including white papers, e-books, case studies, blogs, web copy, social media posts, and digital advertising. Your experience in managing marketing communications for complex industries equips you with the skills to navigate the nuances of government and defense marketing. You are detail-oriented and thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment in messaging and branding.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for shaping Telesat's brand narrative for government and defense customers globally. You will plan and develop impactful content that resonates with target audiences, driving prospect engagement and enhancing brand visibility. Your responsibilities will include creating a variety of content types, such as white papers, e-books, case studies, blogs, web copy, social media posts, and outbound emails. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure that all content aligns with the company's strategic goals and messaging.
You will also analyze market trends and customer feedback to refine content strategies and improve engagement metrics. By understanding the perspectives and pain points of different buyer personas, you will craft narratives that articulate the value of Telesat's offerings at each stage of the buying journey. Your role will involve regular interaction with the sales and product teams to ensure that marketing efforts support business objectives and drive customer acquisition.
