Overview

Telesat is hiring a Human Resources Analyst to provide technical and analytical support in the administration of compensation and benefits programs. This role is based in Ottawa and requires strong analytical skills.

What you'll do

In this role, you will report to the Manager of Compensation and Benefits and be responsible for providing technical and analytical support in the administration of the company's compensation and benefits programs. You will analyze data related to employee compensation and benefits, ensuring that programs are competitive and meet the needs of the workforce. You will also assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

You will collaborate with other HR team members to support various initiatives, including employee engagement surveys and compensation benchmarking. Your insights will help shape the company's approach to talent management and employee retention. You will also participate in training sessions to educate employees about their benefits and compensation options, ensuring they are well-informed and satisfied with their choices.
