You have a strong background in systems engineering, particularly in the context of satellite communications and model-based systems engineering. With at least 5 years of experience, you are adept at using tools like Capella for system simulation and analysis. Your hands-on experience allows you to effectively capture, model, and analyze system behaviors and interfaces, contributing to the definition of complex systems.
You possess excellent analytical skills and a deep understanding of system-level performance and architecture. Your ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary engineering environment makes you a valuable team member. You are motivated by the challenge of developing innovative solutions for next-generation satellite networks.
What you'll do
As a Senior System Engineer at Telesat, you will join the Lightspeed System Engineering team, focusing on the development of a revolutionary Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite network. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting system simulations and analyses to support the design and architecture of the satellite system. You will work closely with experienced engineers to define the space, ground, and operations segments of the network.
You will be involved in hands-on engineering tasks, gaining exposure to the latest MBSE practices and end-to-end system design. Your contributions will directly impact the performance and reliability of Telesat's satellite communications solutions.
